Bahrain and Kuwait Law Firms Establish Cross-Border Cooperation Agreement

MANAMA, Bahrain & KUWAIT CITY, Kuwait, July 17, 2026Abdulrahman Khalifa Law Firm & Legal Consultations in Bahrain and Ineqad Law Firm & Legal Consultancy in Kuwait have entered into a cooperation agreement aimed at supporting legal coordination for matters involving clients, businesses, and transactions connected to both jurisdictions.

The agreement establishes a framework for communication, preliminary case review, and coordination between the two firms while maintaining their independent legal practices. Each firm will continue to operate under the laws, regulations, and professional standards applicable within its respective jurisdiction.

According to the firms, the cooperation is intended to assist individuals, investors, and businesses whose legal matters involve both Bahrain and Kuwait. The arrangement is designed to improve communication, facilitate document coordination, and provide clients with access to licensed legal professionals in each country when cross-border matters arise.

Under the agreement, legal teams may coordinate the exchange of information, organize documentation, and identify jurisdiction-specific requirements before matters are handled by the appropriately licensed legal representatives. The firms noted that the cooperation is intended to streamline communication while ensuring that legal advice and representation remain the responsibility of the licensed firm within the relevant jurisdiction.

The Bahrain practice includes Abdulrahman Khalifa Al Khalifa, Layla Hamad Al Doseri, Faisal Jassim Al Meer, and Noor Mohammed Al Aradi. The firm’s areas of practice include commercial matters, contract drafting and review, dispute resolution, employment matters, financial claims, inheritance, real estate, and personal status law.

The Kuwait-based legal team includes Riyad Mutni Al Fadhli, Mohammed Abdul Razzaq Al Shaya, Fahad Al Saeed, Ahmed Al Fadhli, Ahmed Mohammed Najeeb Abdelhadi, and Ahmed Salah Al Serri. The firm provides legal services in civil and commercial litigation, banking matters, contracts, employment, arbitration, family law, criminal matters, and real estate.

Representatives from both firms stated that the agreement does not establish a merger or create a single legal entity. Each organization will continue to maintain independent responsibility for client representation, legal advice, confidentiality obligations, and professional compliance within its own jurisdiction.

In addition to case coordination, the firms plan to exchange professional knowledge and legal developments relevant to commercial activity, contracts, and regional business operations throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

The Bahrain Licensed Lawyers Directory and the Kuwait Licensed Lawyers Directory will continue to operate independently as public resources for individuals and businesses seeking information about licensed legal professionals in each jurisdiction.
